Mary Worth 2219

After all the planning and early preparations, I think we were all expecting something a little more appetizing than turkey and booze. The dinner may not be much, but it's still the sexiest Christmas greeting ever.

Do Evy and Eddy not use silverware?

Of course they use silverware, just not in the kitchen. Eddy:"you've been a bad maid, stealing the silverware, now where did you hide it?" Evy: "tee hee".

The turkey looks perfect surrounded by the perfectly ripe avocados Mary taught us about earlier in the week.

Ah, nothing like a traditional Christmas dinner. Turkey with green peeps!

Golly, since a "delicious home-cooked meal" is such a novelty, I wonder what the Taylors usually eat. Considering that they're well off, maybe they can hire a cook. Can John Dill do more than pink cakes?

Wanders, are you saying that's Ed's "Business Time" face?

Link probably NSFW, although it's very funny.

Turkey on a bed of pimento-stuffed olives! My favorite!

Isn't December 25th Christmas day? Can't we say Merry Christmas?

Advice: Read today's full strip (click "Purchase a print" on Comics Kingdom) for the full tee-hee effect.

If Olive's wish involves her parents falling off the balcony, I would not blame her.

KitKat's right. Look at the throwaway panels online for further confirmation that Evy has the emotional maturity of a fourteen-year-old. And I think Olive's wish has a faintly sinister quality. Maybe her tummy brain knows something no one else does...and can bring it about?

Let's hope that Olive isn't wishing for a little brother.

(Arrgh! Trying to create an identity after years of being "Anonymous" and having a devil of a time deciding on a picture!)
