We visited local tourist spots and that seemed to do the trick. Grab your coat! We're headed to the Santa Roymart Warehouse and Mazie's.

Dawn must be really desperate if she complains that Wilbur is too busy to spend time with her. What self-respecting college student looks to her parent for socializing? Then again, Dawn HAS come to Mary, so that says a lot about Dawn's psyche.
So Mary is drawing a parallel between elementary-school-age (and tummy-brained oddball) Olive and perpetual college student Dawn (who must be pushing at least 35). When Olive visits Mary during her endless summer break (the Tee-Hee Twosome is eagerly anticipating THAT), just picture the fun those three will have together. #GGWISR (Girls Gone Wild in Santa Royale)
So was the whole saga of angsty one-armed Jim just a passing fancy, a dream? Here all this time I've been so for poor, post-shipwreck Dawn, settled down at last - not to mention feeling happy for Wilbur, who could now presumably devote his whole attention to his sandwich cravings. And all this time it's been business as usual - and dreary - at the Weston condo. I'm stunned.

Me thinks that Dawn and Olive have much in common. I expect that Mary will help Dawn just about as much as she helped Olive.

Poor Dawn. Life isn't brutal anymore, just boring. Brutal was better. At least it got her a free trip to Italy.
Look at Dawn's head and erase the line between her hairline and forehead. Has she gone bald?
Is Dawn wearing Olive's clothes? Or does Mr. Giella have a lot of purple pens?
@KitKat, this story MAY go on until Olive's summer visit.
