ANOTHER WEEK of this?! How can this self-congratulation go on and on and on? Maybe Karen Moy is diversifying her leisure time (awkward phrasing at its worst) and has set this plot on an endless loop. Prepare for more running with Harlan, more yoga with Harlan, Dawn in the library of 1962, and Dawn hanging with her aging friends.

Mary's gloves look like they're more suitable for sewer cleaning.

As terrific as the Tony Awards show was, I wish it had included the big number from "Pork Chops and Acrobats."

So much for optimistic predictions of an end in sight. I had forgotten about the obligatory Mary victory lap. We may be in fo a week of her congratulating herself to Jeff over salmon mousse at the Bum Boat, and extolling herself to Toby poolside. At least if it goes on long enough we may be treated to a summary featuring Sunday Jeff and Sunday Toby.

How did Dawn solve her problem with the perception of her classmates of kissing up to Professor Yoda? Dawn went to lunch with "friends" who may or may not have been some of the ones upset with her but she is still hanging out A LOT with Harlan. And how close is she with her friends when she complained about how she felt alone at school? None of this is making any sense. Nothing was resolved. What is the moral to this storyline (other than Mary is the Supreme Alpha Dog)?

I have diversified my leisure time and read "Mary Worth" and then this fantastic blog every day! Bring on the Mary worship! I love it!

The moral of the "story" is that you can deflect suspicion of having an affair with your professor by diversifying your leisure time. Pure Moy.

Mary to Dawn: "Now run along to your private yoga practice at Professor Harlan's bachelor apartment. He'll be waiting for you."
Mary to self: "Yes, everything is just fine. Problem solved. My advice is always good advice!"

TUESDAY

Yes, the best way to deal with a problem is to ignore it. Well, since nothing is happening here, let's all go help Wanders pack. I'm good at books, and never overfill a box so it's hard to pick up. Who wants to take dishes and kitchen stuff?

Banker boxes are the best! They're lidded, stackable, and have built-in handles in each end to make lifting easy. Fauxprof, you can use them for the books; I'll pack up the kitchen gear and dishes.

If Dawn isn't even noticing, the harassers are doing a poor job indeed.

My office has a big supply of book boxes and cushioning paper, so I can contribute to the packing. Time for a road trip!

Self aggrandizement is Mary's favorite game. She can go on and on about the great advice she gave for at least a week.

I don't know if you fellow MW fans read other comics too, but I had a bet with my friend that Mark Trail would escape from the cave where he's been in the past four months before "Sunday" ever came to Judge Parker. I lost that one. Mark Trail moves even slower than Judge Parker, but Mary Worth can warp the time space continuum like no other comic! When did this stupid Professor Harlan Jones-centric episode begin? It must be at least a couple of months old, yet nothing of any consequence to the plot has really happened, other than the typical rehashing of the story and praise of Mary that comes at the end of most MW episodes...I suppose now that Dawn will stalk PHJ less, it is mission accomplished for Mary and she gave Dawn the perfect advice!
