Wanders, maybe the disappearing flowers are a symbol of Iris's conflicted feelings.

Iris should wear that fetching nightgown on her next date with Zak and his friends.

I can't, either, Iris. Come up with a witty comment on your witless predicament, that is. I've moved on. Hey, there's your answer to Wilbur. "I've moved on. Enjoy your world tour. Feel free to freeze your buns off. And your rye and pumpernickel too."

Good question Wilbur, how is Tommy doing? Seems to be neglected again and we know how much babysitting he needs. So will Iris dump Zak because of Wilbur's email? Or because of Tommy? Or because Zak's friends mock her and laugh at her? Or Zak asks for money? I don't see Zak lasting much longer.

I'm wondering where I can get a set of those groovy flowered pillows. Makes me think of Laugh-In.

Iris was pretty clear about not wanting any contact with Wilbur during his trip and how they should consider themselves single. Not responding is the best response to his inability to respect your boundaries, Iris! Now go get you some sweet 25 year old lovin', before Zak realizes his cougar sugarmama can't bankroll his lifestyle.
