As they pull into the Charterstone parking lot, Mary has finally persuaded Wilbur that things will get better and that the future is something to look forward to.
As Wilbur walks to his apartment, there is the slightest hint of a spring in his step. Then he overhears Mary greeting Iris, who giddily shows Mary her new engagement ring.
So ... no pool party! I want Mary to ask Wilbur about Fabiana. I want to see Mary's reaction to the story about the emerald ring. I'd like to see her put a positive spin on THAT!
"The greatest test of courage on the earth is to bear defeat without losing heart." LIGHT always comes after the DARKEST night. The bigger picture is BETTER and BRIGHTER than what appears now. ...Argh! ... Whirr! ... BEEP! ***EXPLOSION***
Nance, I love how you had YOU'll hanging out there for haiku line 5. Inspired. A contraction for "YOU WILL", which I see Wilbur quickly recovering to, more's the pity....

Wilbur, you're gonna need a bigger radio.

Today's Boldface Haiku is titled
" 'St. Wilbur Of The Cross?' or 'Donate Your Hello Kitty Mug And Shower Radio To St Anne's And You'll Be Just Fine' ".
Mary...mess!
Okay. Light, darkest.
Dark night soul.
Better, brighter. Guarantee.
You'll.
More bad news for Wilbur: His car has been stolen.
Mary’s going to need a new car air freshener. Wilbur looks pretty ripe.
"You know what I'm saying, Wilbur? Kind of like objects in mirror are closer than they appear."
Great haiku title Nanc, and great raw material from the old Moy Bold Mine!
How can Mary guarantee anything?
Story (such as it is) will resolve with muffins. Muffins solve everything.

I'm still hoping Wilbur vomits all over Mary's car.
Also, what happened to Wilbur's car?
Ooooh, PGR is fu! Can I play?

@Yahoonski--Thanks! LOL re: "Bold Mine"--good one!
