I'm just thinking... See! I'm doing it now! I'm thinking again.
For those who are interested, the soundtrack of Eddie and the Cruisers can be found on only one jukebox in America. If you want to listen to it, drop another nickel in the nickelodeon at the Pink Ginger Ale Brewery in Santa Royale.

Perhaps Mary WORTHy?
Today's Boldface Haiku is titled
"The Secret Word Is: Dad".
Okay?...Quiet.
Okay.
Father? Drag!
Not! Thinking...
(Worthy? Too much dad!)
Brandy, honey, you don't SEEM to be a drag...
How many weeks before Mary tells Tommy to tell Brandy about his past & let her decide?
This is in the `Stuff you learned in Kindergarten' file.
Ah, well. June does a nice job of drawing baffled Tommy, and it is in character.
I see Tommy's nose has regained its normal shape. I wonder what he had stuffed up there last night. A line of methadone?
Meanwhile in Beautiful Italy, Dawn apologizes to Harlan for complaining about her father all night.

The last time I heard someone describe himself as "not worthy", it was Wayne and Garth in "Wayne's World" (c1992). Please forgive my noticing that Tommy bears a startling resemblance in both looks and maturity level to both Wayne and Garth...
It may be superficial, but one way Tommy could symbolically break with his past would be by getting a haircut and a shirt with a collar. Not full on jacket and tie, a polo shirt will do. C’mon, June, give the guy a makeover.
"I'm sorry to seem like a DRAG!"
Wow! I never thought I'd live to see the day that Moy would post a self-reflexive apology! Thank, KM! Apology accepted! Yes, this strip is sometimes a drag, but we all LOVE it anyway! (At least I do!)
@fauxprof: I love the idea of a haircut and collared shirt for Tommy. I'm wondering, though, whether Freda's requires employees to wear special T-shirts. Lots of supermarkets do.
What??!! Brandy’s father was in drag?! If only....
@fauxprof, I agree with you 100 percent. Unfortunately, maybe KM thinks no one would recognize Tommy if he made an effort to clean up his look.
Isn’t Tommy rushing this romance after only a few weeks of driving Brandy home, one club sandwich, a couple of pink ginger ales, and one dance? Then again, unlike Tina Baby, High-Maintenance Brandy hasn’t given him the bum’s rush yet.
Yeah Tommy - Try brooding. It works for Jon Snow on Game of Thrones.
Oh Steve G, why did you have to bring up Game of Thrones? The mind boggles with scenes of Mary advising some of those characters, or some of those characters visiting Charterstone.
