And they were never heard from again. The end. Unless the next story is about the perils of staring at the sun.

Some interesting artwork in today's strip.
• The bird's-eye view in panel 1 is very well done except for one thing: we should see more of the upper eyelids. As it is now, it looks like they're both looking up at the sky instead of straight ahead.
• The grass needs cutting.
• The strange orb in panel 2 looks more like a giant moon than the sun.
• June still can't draw water, be it ocean, fountain, or shower.
• The clouds are pretty weird.
Although I could nitpick a few other things, my work here is done.
I hope Brandy starts the inevitable make over of her beau and clothes shops for him. Do the pockets stick out of the legs on those cut off blue jeans Tommy is wearing? Can we dare to dream she’ll take him to a salon?
Way to go Nance. Another winner! I'm trying Hard not to laugh because I'm at work. The title is stellar!
Those clouds look plain weird. Let's hope that a tsunami wipes Tommy and Brandy off the face of the earth.
Please Mary, don't ask how Zak is. I don't think I can stand a Iris/Zak/Wilbur love triangle again. The only way I'd want it is if Zak challenges Wilbur to a duel. Let's go back to "beautiful Italy" where we find Dawn and Harlan having an audience with Pope Francis and Harlan shows him some parkour moves.
Speaking of Italy, the last time a Weston went there, Moy appropriated the Concordia cruise ship disaster for incorporation into the strip. Now they've had the horrible bridge collapse and Dawn is still over there. Just sayin'.
I agree with Regina Wolfe-Parks: the thought of another Iris/Zak/Wilbur love triangle makes my blood run cold - aaaaahhhh! Today is only Tuesday, so what will Mary and Iris talk about until the weekend?? Can Mary ditch Iris tomorrow and pick up a new power walking partner, someone NEW, for Pete's sake? Maybe Olive will appear as she prepares for her freshman year at the University of Santa Royale and Vinyl Siding Company.
And yes, a tsunami to rid us of Tommy and Brandy would be great.
@KitKat--USRVSC...is that a junior college or a 4-year institution? Considering the way people in this strip Do College, it's likely a 15-year degree/certificate/apprenticeship program.
@Regina Wolfe-Parks--Thank you. But it makes me sad that you cannot laugh at work. :-(

Today's Boldface Haiku is titled
"What Are Some Words You Wouldn't Use To Describe Beedies And Westons?".
Good influence!
Determined!
Motivation!

I remember doing a paint by numbers kit many years ago identical to that beach scene, minus T&B of course.

Aww, couldn't June have added some horses?

Still plenty of time for Mary to note Tommy's grocery-saving abilities...
Bravo! Good observations!
Are those skid marks behind their butts?
