Since April 3, Dawn has been been convinced that seeing Hugo will help her find clarity. She keeps repeating it in her mind. Something tells me it isn't going to work. Hugo's not a swami on a mountain top, and Dawn is no George Harrison.

Thanks, M. Wanders. Every time Dawn uses the word "clarity", it's in boldface. Can this be because she really doesn't think that seeing Hugo will bring clarity? Something else, maybe but I bet clarity won't be forthcoming. If she clicks her heels together and says "clarity" loudly three times, epiphany,or perhaps lightning, may strike.
Bingo with the secret message, Wanders. I’d love to see that happen. Why is it so important for Dawn to “be together” with Hugo to help her decide? Does she need to sniff his hair or something? Isn’t seeing his giant face on that laptop sufficient? BTW, who gets right on top of the camera like that? The only person I know who gets so close is our two-year-old granddaughter (her birthday was last week) when she grabs Dada’s phone when FaceTiming us.
"Oh, hi, Jared. . . . Yes, everything's okay. I've just been kind of, uh, busy. . . . No, I'm afraid I can't go out with you this weekend. Or next weekend. Or the weekend after that. . . . Yes, of course I've fallen for you. But, uh, I can't gain any clarity until I fly to New York in a few weeks and spend a weekend with my old boyfriend. . . . Jared, what are you so upset about?"
If Dawn ever has a daughter she can name her Clarity. My own daughter keeps a list of baby names like Margarine, Spaniel, Harmonica, Investor, and Felony. I'm sure she will add many more while she has extra time in lockdown.
S McW - I was thinking the same thing - how does Dawn explain her trip to New York to see her other boyfriend without Jared flipping out and dumping her. Maybe that's the story line - both Jared and Hugo will dump Dawn when she goes to NYC.

As a young, vibrant couple - who on earth would say, "it's not the same as being together"? C'mon, they are supposed to be two young hot-for-each-other people. At that point, you shouldn't have to have a consensus on tactile feelings. Has Moy ever had a love affair?
