So, Ashlee's mild flirtatious have now become painfully overt. You better get another cup of coffee, Mary. This level of meddling will require much more caffeine than that.

A quotation of Mae West’s? Ashlee flirting about holding Drew in OTHER WAYS? Could Karen Moy be lurching toward possibly family-unfriendly territory? No wonder Drew is having difficulty sipping from his kiddie cup, and no wonder Mary’s meddle-sense is tingling.
I imagine KM will slow things down and it will be weeks of Drew and Ashlee sitting in the pizza place talking about what might happen. It would be great to see Mary crash in yelling, "No, Drew! Don't touch that!"
Startled by an electrifying bolt of hey-meddle-meddle, Mary drops her tray and rushes to Tony's. Bursting through the door, she says in a calm but stern voice, "Drew, listen to me. Step away from the bimbo."
Okay, so based upon the one time she’s seen Ashlee (barging into the hospital, crying and screaming profanities, embarrassing Drew in front of patients and co-workers, demanding that he leave work to take her photo, accusing him of thinking he’s better than her), Mary isn’t “sure” whether or not she likes Drew’s friend?
Right… Just like I’m not really sure if I like having someone poke me in the eye with a stick, or having an itchy rash that covers my entire body, or getting robbed at gunpoint, or falling into a nest of fire ants, or…
Bottom line, Mare… Drew’s almost 40. So he would care whether or not you liked his friend, because why?
This will end in tears — with a photo of a bloodied Ashlee, her mascara running, her eyes wide with fear, balancing a muffin on the top of her doomed head.

Mae West? Really, KM, really going for the younger crowd, huh?
