Drew has arrived just in time for his engagement party.

First of all, any doctor who needs the kind of advice that Jeff is dispensing probably shouldn't be a doctor. But now we know how incompetent Jeff thinks his son really is.

Secondly, I thought Jeff was just running a medical metaphor to the ground. I didn't realize that Jeff actually thought Drew was talking about a patient.

And third, did any one else pick up on the key phrase: "Outside advice!" Drew is going to refer Liza to Mary! How awesome will that be? Pretty awesome.

Looks like it's time for Drew to play a little "Doctor" -- A doctor who explains things. Like, why Liza's head is suddenly growing out of his shoulder?

Clearly, Liza has taken her stalking efforts a little too far. But at least this way, Drew will have lots of opportunities to explain in detail why they have broken up.

In fact, as their doctor, I want them to know as much information as possible about their disease because then they can tell me all about it. I certainly won't know much.

Maybe if Liza would cook like a LUVR should, instead of letting Drew pick up the checks, they would still be a "couple" and going on a third date.

Speaking of food and Joe Giella, the Comics Alliance has some wonderful recipes from a Joe Giella project in the 1970's.

I think it's about time for Liza to step up the crazy and move from texting to trespassing. Otherwise, as awesome as this story is, it's going to plateau. If at some point, Drew isn't hiding in the custodial closet at Mountview Hospital in the middle of the night, whimpering quietly, I'm going to be completely let down.

There are two main differences between how this scene actually appeared in 2007, and how Drew remembers it today: First, Drew is a lot more butch in his memory. Second, in Drew's memory, Vera is rushing to protect her horse by sticking her thumb up its nose.

In the most remarkable feat of continuity ever, Liza's name badge continues to read "Lisa." It's been an entire week. I thought for sure that by now it would read "Vera" or "Mel" or "Bert."

Must be strong. Must resist the urge to see your name written on an Hombres ticket, Drew. It helps that the Hombres are in the bottom of the National League West this season. Of course, it is only May.

I don't think it went that badly. Badly would have been if Liza were sitting in the passenger seat right now.

Drew can only HOPE that it is the shock of being dumped. Unfortunately for Drew, the sweet psychoness that is Liza Colby continues to emerge.

"Don't you know what a friend is, Liza? Someone who enjoys being with you. Doing things together? Hanging out. Fishing. Flying kites. You know - Friends! Like us."

The 'let's be friends' line worked so well when Vera used it on Drew...

I love that Drew is actually thinking to himself, "I hope that we can remain friends..." Note to Karen Moy: Drew is a man.

I'm thinking he may want to call in his new brother-in-law for a little police backup on this one.

Actually, I'm pretty impressed with this reflection. Best I've seen in years. Of course, the part in his hair may be wrong. But I like how Mr. Giella has hidden Drew's hands just perfectly in order to pull off the reflection consistently.

The big question I have is how should Drew break up with Liza. Punky suggested Post-it Notes yesterday. That seems appropriate since they've only been on two dates that I can count. But she does like texting, so perhaps that is best...

Drew is so overwhelmed by Liza's inappropriate advances that even his shadow is confused. Do I cast myself on the window, or do I cast myself on the window frame? No, this can't be right.

Clearly, these Peace Village reports are going to figure prominently in the story development over the coming weeks. Otherwise, why would they be mentioned so specifically two days in a row? I look forward to reading them.

This is like, what, their second date? And they're already planning a weekend away together? First of all, Mary Worth and I do not approve of that. Still, I am dying to know where Liza wants Drew to take her. Wouldn't it be awkward if they went to the Heaven's Orchard Resort in Northern Santa Royale and ran into Drew's sister still on her honeymoon?
