Mary Worth 381

Mary's confusion comes from the fact that her word bubble's thought balloon thinks this has something to do with that photo. But to have a psychotic reaction to a photo you carry around in your coat pocket seems unlikely, unless you really enjoy having psychotic reactions. Lynn's emotional collapse is really all about Mary Worth, and since Mary's life is already all about Mary Worth, I'm surprised she hasn't figured it out.

I'm just hoping that Mary is in for a butt-whupping by someone who FINALLY will brook no meddling.

Never happen.

If Frank wants to figure it out, all he has to do is look at her thought balloon.

It's obvious that it's visible. Just look at the expression of the guy behind her looking at it.

Look up, Frank!

Is the child in the photo in a straitjacket?

As Wanders says, photos that we carry in our wallets become pratically invisible to us as we are so accustomed to them being there. But in Moy's world Lynn freaks out after having just such a photo returned to her after dropping it. Moy has no knowledge of basic human nature and has no common sense. Traditionally Mary was a wise older woman who essentially introduced stories about other people who entered her life. Now that the story has become about her, she has been reduced an obsessive, meddling old crone who does more harm than good.
Ever wonder why there is no direct email address or website for Moy? She couldn't stand the abuse.

And how smart it is of Mary to absolve herself of any responsibility in Lynn's breakdown. "Why Frank, I have NO IDEA what's causing Lynn's crack-up. No, I didn't say anything, or hand her a photo that I hoped would solve the mystery I'm dying to know all about."

Mary's and Frank's faces look a cut and pasted today, don't they?

Baha,

The straitjacket story would certainly be an interesting and plausible twist.

Do you think Karen Moy actually even knows where this is going?
