Mary Worth 2345

It's a good thing Mr. Allora has Mary Worth around to tell him how to do his job. Wait... helping residents move in is his job, right? Or is he just the only vaguely ethnic resident living in Charterstone for Mary to rely on for all the heavy lifting?

Mary Worth 2344

I just wanted to check in. We are living in temporary housing before we move into our new home and the wifi is unbelievably bad. And the lobby computers won't let me download images, so I've had a lot of trouble posting. But we should move into our new home this Friday and have Internet installed on July 5th, so shortly after that, I'll return to regular programming.

But I did want to make two comments on today's strip. First, I want to compliment Joe Giella on his best computer ever! And second, I want to express my great appreciation for this story focusing on Mary Worth writing Dear Wendy comments, and NOT on Wilbur's adventures in Japanese earthquake disaster sites. And especially NOT on Iris and Tommy's move. I've had enough to do with moving for at least a few years.

I've been missing everyone! Have a great week.

Did Wilbur just walk into Mary's apartment without knocking? That's a bit creepy.

"For instance, there's only so much perspiration I can collect in this mild California climate. But one day, I hope to visit New York City in the summer, where I can collect much more."

Let's see how University Director Hilton Berkes feels about your truth, Dawn. After Harlan is fired, do you think your friend could get a job at the paper writing "Ask Da Vinci?"

I must admit that I have been feeling a lot like Alfie, the dog that's never there, even though we've felt tantalizingly close when we see a leash dangling from Harlan's hand. Wanders, the blogger that's never there. It seems I've had less opportunity to post as we are neck deep in a move after 16 years in Maryland. So, hopefully, in a month or so, you'll see more posts here... but for now, it may remain a bit sporadic. I'm here every day to read your comments, but time available for posting has really diminished.

I love June Brigman's Sunday art. I think she's turning Santa Royale into a whole new world. However, some things are sacred and shouldn't be altered. Wilbur Weston has four strands of hair combed over his scalp, always. No exceptions. I hope this oversight will be corrected soon.

Those four strands are the only thing keeping Wilbur from looking like me. So let's get it right, please.

So essentially this story has become about Dawn arranging her time with friends around doing yoga with her professor. That is so freaking awesome I can't contain my glee. This is one of my favorite Mary Worth stories of all time. I have loved every day of it.

By the way, the latest Jennifer Lawrence film is usually referred to as X-men: Apocalypse. Given the day to day mutations of our characters, it is apropos.

"We're happy in a lot of ways. And not just being friends, or with Harlan's flexibility. We are also happy discussing Da Vinci in Italian restaurants. The last time I was at this restaurant, I was with Harlan and he said the most amazing thing about parkour. He also likes to garden root vegetables. Isn't that funny? Not any ol' vegetable, but carrots. He has an entire garden of carrots. And did I tell you I got an A on his last exam? Harlan is such a good teacher, and a good person too! And a good friend. And you're my friends again too, and I like you and I like telling you about Harlan!"

It's a good thing Dawn has other plans. Also known as the "handstand scorpion," the taraksvasana is physically impossible for Joe Giella to draw.
