A family is on its way? Oh, joy. Oh, rapture. Although I will say that was a suspiciously short engagement.
Workaholic Tom Harpman doesn't seem too interested in helping Mr. Allora.

Citizens of Santa Royale! I am pleased to announce a new Label for this blog: "Floating Heads." Over the years there have been many floating heads, but I haven't thought to tag them until today's image of Tom Harpman hovered in the air for all the ladies to admire. (By the way, I think Tom Harpman has confused being a workaholic with someone who drinks at work.) I'm sure you have a favorite floating head, but I want to offer a prize to the person who can find the most floating heads on the backpages of our blog. A prize you say? Yes indeed, and would you like to know what it is? Oh please, tell us, tell us!
The reader who finds the most floating heads on this blog will receive a very high honor: Recognition in the Condo Board's monthly newsletter. Yes! So dig deep, fellow citizens, and email your list of floating heads to me at maryworthandme@gmail.com. The winner will be announced later this week, and then I'll tag all the floating heads you find. Have fun!
Tom Dear and Beth Dear are always doing cute little things to express their love for each other. Today, Beth has moved her nose over two inches to the left so Tom can kiss her.
"I'm home at last... again. Beth Dear, now might be a good moment to tell you about my ex-wife and three children. Turns out, she can't cook, but she was always upset just because I'm a workaholic and would come home late and miss the dinner she had tried to prepare. Now she's as bitter as your mother usually is. This is a much better situation for me now."
I have posted today's entire strip because panel 1 clearly proves that Elinor has become nothing more than a pod hosting Mary Worth's spawn. And panel two is one of my favorite lines of dialog of all time. I'm glad Tom has found another girl to cook for him. One heavily salted flounder, head on, coming up!
I had a lot of time to think while I was in the hospital recovering from my fake heart attack. It really forced me to evaluate my life. There's nothing like a fake heart attack to give you some perspective.
Elinor dreams of Beth and Tom breaking up. I think this is about as happy an expression as I can remember seeing on Elinor's face.
Great idea, Tom! Then you can have two mothers! Beth AND Elinor. I wonder if there are any other women at Charterstone whom you could add to the collection. #panel_two
Isn't it great that after they fell in love, they changed their names to Beth Dear and Tom Dear?
Ashamed? Why? Because you wear a blue onesie and like to sit on my lap? Of COURSE NOT.
This panel isn't as scandalous as you may be thinking. Uncle Joe has simply drawn Beth with three shoulders.
Be careful what you wish for. You could end up with the most demanding and oppressive mother-in-law of all time. Ha ha ha ha.
I didn't have time to write this morning, but I couldn't go to bed without posting: Tom and Beth both play the ukulele? I like them more and more each day. I've been playing the ukulele for over a year now and it is the most wonderful instrument ever invented. For these two ukulele players to find each other in a world of pop-40 is a true miracle. Now eat your yummy pork blobs and get married already! Put this lonely bachelor out of his misery.
Just what every workaholic bachelor divorcé wants: A wife who cooks AND treats him like her own little four-year-old child.
I wish Tom would stop referring to himself as a bachelor. I know that technically he's correct, but isn't divorcé more accurate? I mean, in my mind, calling Tom Harpman a bachelor is like calling anyone who appears on the show "The Bachelor" a virgin, even if they have stopped having sex. I mean, once it's gone, it's gone.
Also, the salt is back. Go salt!
