Well, Iris is back at Charterstone, resting with the old folks. And maybe after she's taken her prescribed medications and eaten wholesome groceries, she will one day have the strength to visit Zak at his groovy bachelor's pad.

Zak, you mean you bought nutritious groceries, not healthy ones. Food is not “healthy.” BTW, pay attention to what’s happening outside that window in panel 2 because it looks alarming - yikes.
NPR’s Morning Edition presented reports about menopause this week, which reminded me that Dr. Howard referred only to thyroid problems and Hashimoto’s and didn’t say anything about menopause. So, is Iris temporarily off the hook for normal aging? Is she stopping the clock like Mary, who hasn’t changed in decades?
This makes me wonder what Iris was eating before. I guess all the canned crap that Tommy was stealing from his job at the supermarket, was not too healthy.
Shopping at Whole Foods makes you healthy! (and broke)
Looking at the "window", I noticed the stripes run from lower left to upper right from both sides. Clearly, just plywood lazily painted to sort of resemble a window.
I thought in panel two that a tornado was coming to take these two idiots away.
Zak doesn't go to plain old Whole Foods, he goes to WHOLESOME Food. I wonder if they are just as expensive. I hope Zak used his "Glamazon account to get that 10% discount!
These two are sounding like a commercial "get plenty of rest, eat well and take Geritol everyday."
Time doing what it does in the Worthiverse, I suspect Sunday's summary strip will feature a bouncy, Gidget-like Iris, completely revived by love and thyroid medicine...

"I got your medications from the pharmacy plus healthy groceries and dinner so can we fool around now?"

I'm so glad Zak bought wholesome food. That naughty strip tease bananas do isn't at all family friendly.
did zak have to do all the shopping because iris is still addicted to volunteer work
