Mary Worth 3319

Jared is having second thoughts already, now that she's attainable.

Thank you, Downpuppy! How could I have forgotten Dave?

Dawn careens from the self-assured arrogant swagger of worldly Hugo to the apologetic lack of self-confidence of dweeby Jared. This can't last. I see Zak in her future. For a little while, at least.

To tell the truth, I didn’t see this coming. I never thought that Dawn, given her abysmal track record and her shallowness would be attracted to a genuinely nice guy.

Ah, Dawn’s helmet hair! I miss Joe Giella.

If memory serves me correctly, Jared has a cat. Considering how Dawn feels about Libby/“Winky,” Jared’s cat might be a dealbreaker, unless (1) Dawn never visits Jared’s apartment, much less move in with him, or (2) the cat has shuffled off this mortal coil.

The only way this drivel can become even a little interesting is if Hugo calls Dawn and tells her that he's had a change of heart. He simply cannot live without her for a moment longer. He's talked it over with his cousin, Brigitte, and he's decided to move to Santa Royale, but only if Dawn will promise to be his wife. Hopefully Jared's clunker car can make it all the way up to Heartbreak Hill where he can drown his sorrows in Mountain Dew.

La Dawn-a e mobile
Won't matter what you say
Give her the time of day
Her breath you'll take away

Dawn thinks she knows your mind
Took Psych 1 so many times
Just takes one wink at her
Love's a non-sequitur

Dawn and an EGG crack
then hold no THING back
Duckling Dawn im-PRI-I-I-I-NTS
on whoever's around.
A-round
the square,
whoever's around.

Maybe this will be the last we see of Dawn.

mr_darcy, you win the Interwebs today! And now I’m envisioning Wilbur as a hunchback.

mr_darcy, Ha ha, now I've got that song stuck in my head! I picture Wilbur karaoke-ing onstage at that cheesy bar he likes.

@KitKat, better even than hunchback Wilbur is Dawn in a sack!

You know, like the old saying... 'any dork in a bore-em (to death script)'

@Kitkat - I just now understand your reply. I'm so dense I forgot Rigoletto was a hunchback. I thought you were referencing The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Hugo Lambert scrambled is "mob laughter"; is Karen Moy more clever than we thought or do I have issues? Confusion reigns when one's knowledge of opera comes from Bugs Bunny cartoons.

Those are some seriously fat fingers on Dawn's left hand.
