"It's not you, Hugo. I've found someone better." Explain to me how this isn't about Hugo?

"is it something I said or did?" "Yes Hugo, you keep telling me how much everything is better in France."

I can't wait for Hugo to say "Aucun problème...no problem, I too have found someone. Her name is Babette."

My fantasy is that Hugo leaves to use the bathroom, sneaks out through the kitchen and sticks Dawn with le bill.

“It’s not you, it’s me.” Now that’s an original line, said no one ever. Dim Dawn strikes again. Something she doesn’t say is, “I love someone else.” She hasn’t told poor nebbish Jared she loves him, either, just that she’s “falling in love” with him. He’d be better off meeting someone at Star Wars Trivia Night.

I can’t think of a less appetizing sight at my dinner table than these tears gushing from Dawn’s eyes - holy mackerel! Maybe Hugo feels the same because he sure looks like a different person today.

It's simple, Hugo. Tu sait pas quoi faire de ta vie. If Dawn could spout French like that, Hugo might actually realize what he's missing. Au revoir, Hugo.

"I have feelings for someone else!"

"Well why didn't you say so? Anyway, tomorrow do you want to go to the Guggenheim?"

Four comments; sad... KM: Take note: I think this might be a message to you that we'd all be so relieved if we never saw the outcome of this stupid story (who cares?) and tomorrow's strip was a POOL PARTY! With A NEW CHARACTER OR TWO! Yes!

It's not Hugo because he's a big lump of nothingness. How could it be him?

What happened to Hugo's face? It looks messed up. And how is Dawn talking without opening her mouth?
