Mary Worth 3488

Here's another great example of why it is so important to date a co-worker: People in the produce section can listen in and take sides.

Aren't produce bags always transparent? I think Blondie is taking advantage of the Battling Babes by slipping a few cucumbers into her handbag.

Tommy, she said she loves you, but she doesn't want to marry you, and now she doesn't believe you and doesn't want to talk to you. Soooooo, any other babes work at that store?

BTW, be sure to stop by and thank Vin for getting you into this mess.

Perhaps that blond shopper is reconsidering her purchase of cucumbers, since she is standing in front of what looks like a display of yellow squash. Don't do it! Keep the cucumbers. That yellow squash will just molder away in the vegetable bin in your refrigerator. Every day you will look at it and think, "Oh, yeah. I should grill that squash before it goes bad." But then it will slip your mind until the day you open the drawer and the squash is so gray and fuzzy you pick it up between two fingers and fling it with disgust into either the trash or (since this is California) your compost pile. Just be glad Meddling Mary Worth isn't there to judge you for throwing out food.

On a seasonal note, Brandy berating Tommy for betraying her trust reminds me of Sally castigating Linus for encouraging her to wait for the Great Pumpkin when she could’ve been trick or treating.

But where is Freda?

Freda's just another job /
for Tommy boy to lose.

This started with Tommy happening to take a walk around 11pm by a dark alley. He stayed there for four days staring at Vin, the Santa Royale very well known drug dealer who has happened to fall on bad times, and happened to be in said dark alley.
Then there's Brandy, who didn't happen to have any pain relief medication in her apartment. Then there's Freda, who happens to allow employees argue about drug use in front of customers

Mr. Wanders, I am on the slow side, but this may be stretching credibility

Lets bring back Wilbur and Mr. Allora and his handtruck
