Mary Worth 3498

Dear Ms. Moy,

The Condo Board is please to acknowledge your request that "Drive All Night" by Bruce Springsteen be added to the clubhouse jukebox. Fortunately, Mr. and Mrs. Wanders watched Blinded by the Light on Friday night and staged a small sit-in until unnamed holdouts on the Board conceded. Thank you for your recommendation.

Sincerely yours,

The Condo Board

Thank you Mary. Say, can I crash here? Brandy threw me out and Zak is over.

Are those slices of banana bread on the coffee table the first ones Mary cut, or is it so delicious that they’re having seconds? Heavens, what am I thinking? “Delicious” and “Mary’s banana bread” don’t belong in the same sentence, let alone on a coffee table.

I hope those birds in the penultimate panel are planning an attack a la “The Birds:” with hordes of crows, buzzards, and more waiting to zero in. We need some action to get us out of this cliched meddlefest.

Wow... only two comments today... We are in serious snooze mode here... Okay, we've all beaten the uncooked banana bread served on tiny, Ritz cracker sized dishes, Tommy's long hair, whatever else, to death... So all we can mention now is the disgusting ads that Wanders has allowed to ruin my breakfast... Am I the only one who pulls up "Mary Worth and Me" whilst eating breakfast? Try spooning a mouthful of soft boiled egg into your mouth as that ad for ear wax removal pops up...

Helen, I love you, but can you ease up a little?

Many of us persons of a certain age need info on stuff like earwax. Not to mention several other chemical/pharmaceutical products that you don't even want to know about. In fact, sometimes our significant others insist on it.

So let's just leave it at that, okay?

Hugs,

Wilbur

Hey, Helen, I can't control what ads you see. Google picks them based on their personal file of your Internet activity. Also, when you click on them, I get a few pennies. :)

Google picks them? Seriously? Ha haaa haaa... that's too funny! So now I understand why I see so many ads for shoes, and the ads for keeping ones house dust free must be because they're spying on me, but the earwax removal? Man, that's going to drive me nuts for the rest of the day!
