Mary Worth 3563

If you mix the salmon, carrots and chow up and bake it in a bread pan, you could bring it to the next pool party and call it "salmon carrot bread." I'm sure it will be a hit at the next pool party.

Speaking of pool parties... is it time for another one? Has this story ended? It seems like it is over. I for one, am ready to move on.

“I put no seasoning in THEIR food, or in ours, either. I used a recipe Mary Worth gave me, and I substituted Splak for the chow.”

Gram’s secret ingredient?

Today's Boldface Haiku is titled

"Tony The Tiger Has A Homophone Problem".

I expected that Greta and Max woud be seated at the table, so I'm mildly surprised that the digs are eating like dogs. However, shoud Greta be given the same amount of food as Max? (I realize Max's size has been fluctuating wildly.)

Wouldn't it be fun if Eve put lots of habanero and chipotle peppers in her and Saul's food? That would liven up these boring proceedings.

I fear that the days of pool parties are gone forever. I'm hankering for a juicy Ian-Toby diversion [sigh]. Chinbeard has been banished to KM purgatory.

Another classic BFH title, Nance!

I guess we can add to the list of things KM has never experienced. Obviously, she has never owned a dog. I'm surprised June didn't depict the dogs sharing a bowl of spaghetti, a la Lady and The Tramp.

So glad to see everyone has kept up the top quality snark while I've been busy counting snowflakes. And Nance! Your Sunday BFH and today's are fabulous! I am so ready to move on from this "Who Needs a Domestic Violence Support Group when a Girl has a Dog and a Kindly Old Man Neighbor Who Also has a Dog?" plot. Perhaps Mary Worth is about to (gasp) retire, and Saul is auditioning to take over her role. I doubt we'll get out of this trauma fest, however, without Mary's weighing in before the end of the week...

Thanks so much, everyone. You keep me motivated because your comments are tough to match.

All I could think of after reading 'salmon and carrots' was orange. Really orange.

Maybe the secret ingredient in Madi's Gram banana bread was chow!
