Mary Worth 3753

Aw, yes, Dawn's John Waters phase. And Wilbur's prize from the county fair pie eating contest.

Carol loses 20 points on the Worthiverse Women Score-o-Matic by taking Wilbur’s call. Sigh.

"Wilbur, you're not over your ex yet. So go bother her." (Sorry, but I can't bring myself to put an exclamation point after every single declarative sentence.)

Pie-eating contest -- Wanders, that's great!!!

Missed the Groucho party yesterday. My all-time favorite quote would have made a good caption for Ashlee riding Greyhound.
"I once had to leave town because a belle told at midnight. Problem was, she told the police."

I thought we'd see Wilbur doing the stalking but it appears Carol has set up camp right outside Wilbur'sliding door.

Look up, Wilbur. Your daughter is laughing at you.

Dawn is one of us!

Carol is sitting in Mary’s waiting room.

What is that set of red and yellow bound books next to Wilbur's monitor?

Advice columnist's desk references maybe?

A master sandwich making encyclopedia with individual volumes for mayonnaise and the greater and lesser delicatessen meats?

@TimP I think those are three copies of Mao's "Little red book" (a couple of them are large print). I'm sure Wilbur will fail at being a communist too.

@Unknown More likely three copies of mayo's Little Red Book.

"mayo's Little Red Book"--you're going to make a name for yourself, Anonymous, with such witty imagination! Really terrific!

Tuesday

I don't know why Carol thinks Wilbur isn't over Estelle. He met Carol a whole 24 hours after Estelle kicked him out.

Did Wilbur draw a mustache on Dawn's photo in the Monday strip? It suits her.

* It should be noted that this does not count as a “floating head”

TUESDAY

Since cell phones don’t “click!” that must have been Carol’s teeth as she bit her tongue to keep from telling Wilbur what she really thought about him. At least she’s secured herself a nomination in the Worthy Awards Outstanding Performance by a Guest Character category.

I was thinking that Dawn looks like a snub-nosed monkey, but she also does strongly resemble John Waters! That's quite a picture.

I hope Wilbur stops inflicting himself on women. Estelle may be dumber than a bag of hammers, but still, she doesn't deserve to have him stand outside her window with a boom box again. No one deserves that.

We know it won't happen, but Carol needs to become a main character. She can show everyone how to handle the idiotic freaks they come across. Muffins not required. Mary, time for you to shuffle off to Shady Pines!
