Mary Worth 3878

This is why Women's Liberation has failed. The modern woman's never-ending quest to appear strong prevents her from confiding in her husband, who is always more than happy and able to solve all her problems. The things we learn from Mary Worth.

Yes, Toby, have Ian review past interactions.

P.S. Remember folks, no matter how tedious this is, at least it does not involve Wilbur in any way. So enjoy the reprieve.

“You SUPPOSE I’m right?! There’s nothing to suppose, Toby! You should know I’m always right! No wonder your life is one tedious episode after another, and you’re hopeless at managing the least little thing. Humpf!”

P.S. @Scottie McW., thanks for the reminder. There are no Saul, Eve, or dogs, either, so we should all be grateful.

Toby is starting to use the word situation almost as frequently as the phrase school management. I’m afraid we’re in for some lengthy discussions about situation management skills for those who struggle with situations involving school management.

Toby dear, perhaps you could find a different sweater for everytime this situation comes up in your marriage.

Wow, I guess Ian is a real @$$#()!& behind closed doors. Nothing like his pool party persona.

While I am very grateful not to be seeing anything about Wilbur or Saul or dogs, I am missing the imagination of June. Those were fun strips!

I think Ian is at the bottom of this whole thing. After Toby's trophy wife attraction wore off and she started to grate on his nerves, he began an affair with Helen Moss. She's not only at SRCc but two evenings a week she teaches adult education classes at the university (SRu) where Ian works. She won him over by her skills teaching English as a second language to Scottish immigrants. He and Helen have plotted to use Toby's alleged affair as his excuse to divorce her.
