It is terribly important that any couple that breaks up become great friends because it is never awkward and a real sign of maturity to want to hang out with your ex-lover all the time. Incredibly mature. Like Cathy. And Jared. I'm sure Jess would love it if Dawn and Jared get together as friends a lot.

Obviously, KM doesn't know the meaning of the word commiserate. Not only is Dawn not commiserating with Cathy; neither is Cathy commiserating with Dawn. Sheesh...

Excuse me, KM, but Dawn and Jared were not friends for years before they began dating. He hung around in the background through her escapades with Lyin’ Dr. McSwarmy and Hugo the Frenchie Snob until Dawn decided he was a lovable schlub who made her laugh, and they started dating.
Cathy’s repeated suggestions that Dawn and Jared remain friends make me wonder about HER romantic past. Does she have a score of old boyfriends who are now her friends?
Yeah, my memory for MW is not the most reliable but my first recollection of Jared is of him trying to nice-guy his way into Dawn's affections. Which I guess Dawn might not have recognised as such, but I don't see KM doing a storyline about incel awareness.
Dawn just kept Jared around as a dorky but devoted place holder until she found another class-A object of her desires, so she could dump him and apply no lessons of past experience to yet another failed relationship. Didn't he get that? How dare he dump her? And who wants to be friends with someone they used who finally called the user out on it? Of course she's mad. Who cares? Cathy and Jared, that's who.
Dawn is a jerk but at least she's consistent.
Cathy should MHOB. How are those two friends?
And Jared. Sheesh. Such selective clarity and nasty kitchen habits. Who dumps a jerk who's used them for a new 'love', only to blubber about the loss of their great friendship? Who plays amateur therapist with a vulnerable crime victim, romances them, then runs away to cry to his cat about the loss of his ole pal?
Is KM challenging herself as a writer to create the dumbest least likeable characters ever?
Because I wish she wouldn't.
Is anyone else sick of this storyline? I don't mind Jared/Jess but I'm really tired of Dawn (stands to reason, I was sick of Wilbur)
the only more stupid charecter then jared is dr corys daughter who dated ted confey.

I know! Jared and Jess should double date with Dawn and Cathy! That worked out so well with Iris and Zack and Wilbur and Estelle. Should be good as long as Dawn gets drunk at dinner.
