Mary Worth 4002

No, you don't have to repeat your father's mistakes. Let me repeat, you don't have to repeat your father's mistakes. But you do have to repeat your entire conversation for anyone that may have missed something.

While Mary helps Dawn find clarity, let me thank those who have recently donated to the Mary Worth 4000 campaign! You have all been so generous:

Harold S.
Leslie S.
Julie C.
James W.
Charles P.
Candice W.
Stephen C.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and your generous support!

Meanwhile, hidden behind the lemonade jug, the muffins were gathering. Soon the time would come to strike.

Right on target with today’s secret message, Wanders. I wouldn’t want to lift those cushions, let alone vacuum that couch. There must be layers of crumbs from different MW eras. Speaking of eras, whose photo is on the end table? It doesn’t look like Jeff. Could it be the late (really, really late) dear Jack, gazing from beyond at muffins and the always-full carafe of lemon water?

In honor of it being Sunday, Mary has climbed up to her metaphorical pulpit and quoted St. Thomas Aquinas as Dawn thinks “Who??” That’s what I said about Cavett Robert, who had quite a varied career doing all kinds of things. He finished by becoming a professional speaker and founding the National Speaker’s Association; he was the first recipient of the NSA’s Cavett Award.

I think this is the first time Mary has referred to Wilbur’s “mistakes” rather than his “endearing quirks.”

Good grief. Is Mary's sickened expression in P3 due to her remembering some of Wilbur's mistakes, or did she get a bad lemon slice?

Wow! Looks at all those tips! Good going, Wanders. You must have hauled in at least twice what Zak makes in a year!
