I know Saul intends this to be ironic, but the reality is, he's keeping up with his dog.

Oh boy; Heart Attack Hill. Guess Greta will finally get her "Timmy's in the well" moment. It would be more fun though if Toby and Mary, so engrossed in their conversation about banana bread, didn't notice Saul's prone body and just power walked their way around him.
Not only a stud, but a young stud. Saul, you’re tempting fate. Leaning at that angle and balancing on one foot will seal the deal. I see a trip (ha ha, see what I did there?) to Mountainview Hospital and possibly Greta moving in with either Mary (is Jeff allergic to dachshunds?) or Toby (does she need a model for her clay animal sculptures?).
I was going to post this yesterday - but there was not MWandME on Tuesday- - but now I'm even more certain. Saul is headed for a heart attack or a fall. Greta is headed to Madi.
Has anyone ever died in Mary Worth, other than her husband by way of backstory? Tommy is clean, Wilbur didn't sink or jump, Madi's father didn't get "disappeared" by cartel thugs...
Hmm, we appear to be segueing into a Saul story. This is not like Moy, is it? Doesn't she usually begin new stories abruptly?
If this is the case, I see nothing good in Saul's future, however long (or short) it may be.
Maybe St. Mary will see him splayed on the sidewalk and administer life-saving CPR. Or maybe Jared will.

P.S. @RobC. I think some guy committed suicide by going all Thelma and Louise, but that was before my time here. I'm sure some of our more learned historians her can provide the details.
So predictable! Saul will have a heart attack. On his deathbed, Madi will grab the surgeon and whisper Gram's secret ingredient for heart surgery into his hear, thereby saving the day. "Next!" shouts Madi, as she gives Wilbur a sidelong glance.
@RobC, yes indeed, the infamous Aldo Kelrast met an untimely demise in MW. Wanders posted a fitting tribute here. (When I saw the date of that blog post, I said to myself, in true old-guy fashion, "Where does the time go?!" Really, wow!) http://maryworthandme.blogspot.com/2007/09/in-memorium-aldo-kelrast.html
@RobC: Each year our Worthy Awards celebration starts by presenting the Aldo Kelrast Memorial Award to a character that died that year. Posthumously of course. If you want to visit past celebrations, just look for the Worthy Awards tag.
Toby ends up with Greta. Didn't she originally hate Greta? And after all, Madi did save her banana bread so Toby will have a complete turn around. Not logical, I know, but this is Mary Worth.
MDMaryTed, I recall that Toby had a strong dislike for the late Bella. It’s an open question whether she was remorseful when Bella died. She seemed almost gleeful when she reported to Mary that “Old Man Wynter’s dog died!” I’m guessing that the only animals Toby likes are gray clay ones.
My guess yesterday that Saul was going to fall was wrong. Maybe he’ll have a heart attack.
Sue sussed it out first, I think, and after Thursday's strip I think it is clear that it will indeed be a fatal heart attack and that the transformed Madi of Charterbrook Farm will wind up with the woofing wiener. I just wonder when June, who obviously has some talent and has some other irons in the fire, will tell Moy "For the love of all that is holy, will you try writing something that has something to do with the real world for a change? I've had it! I'm not illustrating any more of this piffle until you stop phoning it in."
BTW, for those unfamiliar with the Also Kelrast character, his last name was an anagram for "stalker."
9/11 Strip. What hackneyed foreshadowing! Everyone knows yellow labs are big, friendly lugs. If Moy was going to have a dog attack Greta, she could have picked a breed with a more nefarious reputation - like a Pomeranian!

Today's Boldfaced Haiku is titled
"Do You Think Mary Can Make Low Cholesterol Muffins?".
Good mood!
Woof!
Ha ha...
Young stud!

A literal victory lap around Charterstone - what exactly did Saul do to help again?

Thanks tkraft. I found the whole storyline here:

Why does he look like Captain Kangaroo?
Great timing! Aldo Kelrast Day is almost two weeks from now.
who takes care of greta when saul kicks the bucket

None of us will ever forget Aldo Kelrast. Because none of us can.
Based on Charterstone’s demographics, Saul actually is, indeed, a young stud.
Toby ends up with Greta. Didn't she originally hate Greta? And after all, Madi did save her banana bread so Toby will have a complete turn around. Not logical, I know, but this is Mary Worth.
Madi will get Greta. She found out that she likes dogs now. And Greta believed in her even when she didn't.
I am thinking Saul falls down and is helped up by an elderly woman, and we will be subjected to a new romance

Sorry. I meant "Aldo" Kelrast. But come to think of it, "Also" is a good name for anybody in this strip.
Toby was also gleeful when she found out what Arther had scammed Mary's friend. She wanted to tell her herself She is a mean drunk
When Saul gets out of the hospital, he will recover at Lyle's place. Payback time!
