My friends, I got some bad medical news last week, and though I am not without hope, I will tell you this: I'm praying this godawful story comes to an end before I do.
As much as we can hope fervently that this IS the end at last, KM could take these two down other paths as their frozen yogurt melts all over them. Imagine these:
Saul has a wardrobe crisis when he contemplates buying a polo shirt.
Max refuses to eat the kibble Eve has given him for years, and Eve develops an acute case of analysis paralysis as she researches Rachael Ray's Nutrish versus Purina Pro Plan. (Expect brand names - KM's getting a kickback from Cinnabon for today's strip.)

Wonderful things are happening these days. Two close friends of mine are happily surviving diseases we once thought were bleak forecasts. I hope all goes well for you too, Yahooski.
Unfortunately, I see no hope for Saul and Eve and I'm kinda afraid that Wanders may have doomed us.
