Mary Worth 4007

I'm not crying, you're crying. No seriously, I'm not crying.

Dawn treated Jared so cavalierly (remember the gawking at the zoo, and her rationale to Cathy when they went to Rock On?), I find her dissolving in tears unconvincing. It was far from a romance for the ages, even by Worthiverse standards. What was in Mary’s “blueberry” muffins? Oh well, Dawn has differentiated herself from her father, so her nightmare was likely a one and done.

Hey, how about a Charterstone pool party? Remember those, KM? How about another visit by Ted Miller (what a character!) or even John Dill? How about The Return of Ashlee? Please?!

Dawn should take another internship in Tucson and Wilbur should do one of his trips interviewing survivors and let's not see either of them for at least ten years please. And yes, another Charterstone pool party please!

The only way for this story to end properly is that, tonight, Dawn will decide to take the shortcut back to Mary's building to thank her for her wonderful advice. She will get clobbered by Knuckles (aka Mr. Allora who's had to resort to crime because Mary hasn't authorized a raise for him in over 15 years). Dawn will end up in the hospital where Jared will realize at her bedside that she is his one and only true love. And he will also have to come to grips with the fact that he gets turned on by one-eyed women.

Oh. I thought she was laughing so hard she was crying. I certainly know I am.
