Well, my guess is that this will lead to a trip to the Animal Shelter. Or maybe the pet shop. Probably a guy with all Zak's dough wouldn't be interested in a "used" pet. So far, we've rescued cats, dogs, fish. I'm seeing a parrot in Zak's future.
Easy for Iris to say she'll make it up to Zak. Judging from the white lightning that has divided his body in the first panel, he doesn't have long to live.
She'll make it up to him? I wonder what culinary delight she'll serve him next. Microwaved chicken tenders with off-brand Kraft Dinner? Mr Noodles with sliced hot dogs?
