Mary Worth 4105

I might have thought Iris hates My Thai after The Incident at My Thai. It was almost as bad as the Incident at Picadee Falls.

“I wish I could see beloved people from my childhood…”. But they’re all gone because I’m WAY older than you think.

This is going to be so great! Nan is going to show to up at My Thai looking almost exactly like Iris, complete with the black dress!

My Thai is the only Thai restaurant in Santa Royale. To add to what promises to be an awkward dinner, My Thai now features karaoke, and Wilbur is a regular participant.

Nan is married? Well, that's good news. For a minute there, I thought that Nan showing up might cause a problem for Iris. But Nan won't be interested in Zak. Nan is already completely happy because Nan has a man!

The next line will be from Zak: "That's the great news! She'll be moving in with us after we get married!"

I don’t understand. Did he specifically choose the specific restaurant named My Thai from Wanders’ linked Incident, to maximize Iris’ discomfort and the chance of an extremely awkward encounter with Wilbur and Estelle out on a fourth chance date? Or did Zakiks Entertainment Inc pivot to the restaurant biz after the NASDAQ crash, so Zak is correctly referring to it as “my Thai restaurant “? Or is it a generic Thai restaurant, being referred to as “My” in another example of his painfully weird “My Nan” syntax?

So many questions, so few spring rolls. At least with the Bum Boat, we’re firmly moored in the stagnant waters of an Old Familiar.

I think the decision to go to the Thai restaurant was June’s idea. Get the recycling bin ready, Wanders.

Do people dress up to go to a Thai restaurant? I live in a large metropolitan area and the only time people are dressed up is if they're coming directly from work.

To answer the Good Dr.'s question, I think the name of the restaurant is My Thai. I've noticed a trend in using puns and playful names in the naming of Thai Restaurants of late: Bow Thai, Why Thai?, Wok n Roll, to name a few. As long as the food is good, I'm fine.

Iris, if you wanted to see people from your childhood, you'd need a Ouija board!
