Mary Worth 4195

"... In age, finances, education? In health, talents, family disfunctions? In addictions, drink preferences, gambling debts? In genetic mutations, body odors, multiple affairs? Underwear, flatware, flatulence? Everything? Are you sure? Don't you want a little variety in your life? Wilbur Weston is the one for you!"

For one thing, they both like four legged pets and don't give them away.

I sense this is going to be a long, boring, repetitive week.

"But can you bear to pay full price for mayonnaise, rather than using Wilbur's 10% discount on the Family Pack?"

"I will never eat mayonnaise again."

It’s unclear from June’s artwork and some misplaced boldface, but Mary is rolling her eyes and actually saying “Good luck with HIM!”

“It’s still new, but I’m encouraged so far! After all, we HAVE had two dates, and only a year apart!”

I’m with @Catt. The last thing we need is another week of Mary and Estelle walking and repeating. I hope tomorrow we return to Animal Clinic, where highly stressed Green Steven (Ed’s nephew, remember?) has a meltdown with a new client, a guy with a terrible combover and two fish.

"I'm encouraged so far. So will you PLEASE stop trying to shove Wilbur down my throat?"

"We'll see."

Used to be I could see comics on CK without being a subscriber by scrolling down to the Buy a Print area, but apparently they figured that out and blocked that path. Oh well, I can read Moy's word porridge elsewhere by what of Big Ben Bolt, Juliet Jones, Buz Sawyer, Rip Kirby, Mandrake the Magician and King of the Royal Mounted? I am bereft. Maybe some muffins would help.

Yahoonski - I used to go to CK too but after a while, I found the comments really tiring. All that BS about upvotes and downvotes, using umlauts to get crude remarks past the censors, arguing about who said what first; too childish and irritating for me. MW is the only comic I read but so far, I've found it on the Washing Post for free.

Make that: Washington Post. Now, excuse me, I have to go out and hang my washing on the post.

Helen Clark, looks like you missed George Birthington's Washday last week... Anyway, I'm finding that the Washington Post is behind in posting today's strips... The one for 2/26 was from last week sometime...I had to dig online to find the current one, and yes, Comics Kingdom has put a lockdown on anything but today's strip.. not that anything riveting happened between last Thursday and today except maybe for Estelle violating Santa Royale's leash laws. Hope she picks up after her pets. I never see her carrying a bag..

Sheesh, enough with the Wilbur bashing - everyone already knows and besides Stell (if I can call you Stell) it's not like you're Miss Perfect.

Everyone, a CK subscription is cheap. I finally bit the bullet after seattle pi stopped providing me with comics for free.

Please consider your role in keeping the comics business from collapsing!!

LouiseF - You're right! I did! Oh well, next year. Thanks for the giggle; ya gotta love silly!

What Estelle doesn’t know about Dr. Ed:

He lives with his mother…
In a motel…
The Bates Motel

Breakfast food: Haggis Benedict

Just bought a new (new to him) car…
From Jared Mylo…
(Came with a roll of duct tape)

On his bedside table:
Hot Grey-Haired Pet Moms Monthly
