Mary Worth 4074

"I love you too, Zak. But you're an idiot. I broke up with the last idiot I dated before he fell off a ship. Obviously, I've waited too long with you, but it's never too late."

Those two got awfully grimy during their escapade.

If Iris agrees to marry Zak after this foolishness, they deserve permanent banishment to the Mary Worth World of Disappeared Couples.

The lifesaving vine seems to have disappeared from the underside of the cliff.

Zak: This reminds me of when Nan saved my life. She told me not to go into the neighbors’ yard, but I didn’t listen, and I was just about to fall into their fishpond, and…. Wait! Iris, come back! I didn’t finish telling you the story…”

Looking at the outcropping these two are perched on, there doesn't appear to be a safe route up or down, let alone any guardrails. Suspension of disbelief here in the Worthiverse, although I definitely appreciate KM's attempt at suspense, and JB's bold illustrations that make Picadee Falls a junior Niagara.

My Pilates instructor says we start losing our balance at the age of 30. Is Zak even there yet? Maybe he should be doing some balance exercises. In a safe place.

If any good comes of this, it's that Zak will purchase the rights to the "I survived" series or whatever Wilbur calls it and crush his former romantic rival in the business arena.

There’s still hope. If these two get any friskier maybe they’ll roll off the ledge.

That ledge looks a lot bigger then when Zak was dancing the Charleston on it!
