A lady would wait to laugh until after Adrian had left the room.
I can see Jill and Mary developing a wonderful friendship. A year from now, Mary will say, "You know, Jill, I did not like you when we first met. Do you remember that? And Adrian's silly dress? Wonderful memories."

How many people were in that dressing room? The faces change so many times!
And why are they all capable of movement or pose that I would find unnatural or just theatric? And in a silly way! Or is that the look they were going for?
Jeez, talk about moving along. I miss a few days and the body coun t is soaring.
I'm seeing a little Bonquiqui attitude in Mary.
Mary's profile look strikingly similar to Avatar's colonel Miles Quaritch.
Take a look for yourselves.
Her gun was cut out of frame, but from her stance, we can conjecture it's loaded and aimed to blow out Jill's kneecaps.
Mary Worth is taking a Sopranos route, and I for one LIKE it!
Wow, I'm about as great at linking as Wilbur is at denying illegitimate fake-sons.
Let's try this one more time.
I like how, in panel two, Jill's checking out Worth's bun with a big smile on her face.
Interesting how Mary said "HER" dress instead of "that first dress", as if Adrian had already bought the thing! Kind of presumptious on Mary's part, I think. With friends like these, who needs enemas?
I've tried to hold back, guys, but I'm going into blasphemous territory here. I hate Jill Black and want her to get a good old-fashioned Worth smackdown!
It's not often that I've loathed a comic character so much (Elly from FBOFW is about it), but this one is really rubbing me the wrong way.
I want Mary to throw stale salmon squares at her and knock her teeth out! (Those things become like hockey pucks after they've sat out for awhile.)
Adrian desperately needs assertiveness training. Jill needs anger management training and a slap in the face and Mary is just the one to deliver it.
Adrian warned us that her colleagues in the Mountview Hosp. break room had "another name" for Jill!
So, what is it about Jill that Adrian LIKES, and therefore values her opinion? Obviously, she paid heed to Jill and didn't buy the dress.
Oh dear, a horrible thought--what if Jill doesn't like SCOTT and thinks he's a joke, too!?
Mary will blow a gasket!
Wanders, your secret message is hysterical, and perfectly on target!
Boy, Mary's biting her tongue. It's taking a lot of self-control for her not to meddle. I'm surprised her face hasn't turned as purple as Jill's outfit.
Mary better watch it. I'm pretty sure man-girl Jill could take her.
I like the arrival of Jill the Rude. I would love a character development featuring Adrian with a Spine. And a Brain.
...as they stroll from Santa Royale to Manhattan...
I'm sorry, folks. Which circle of Hell is Mary Worth again?
Soulsuckers and crones.
It's only taken them a *week* to try on *one* wedding dress. While the cruise ship (yes, the bridal boutique *must* be on a cruise ship) floated them into Manhattan. Or Gotham City. And at any moment, Batman and Robin will appear, drag them into their Batcave(TM), and design the perfect wedding frock.
No, that storyline makes no sense. But then, neither does the current one.
