Wilbur's boss is kind of a jerk, except that he really doesn't care if his "Ask Wendy" columnist takes off for an extended visit to Europe. I can't blame him for being grouchy, though. I mean his job is to edit "Ask Wendy."
"She needs to get away from this town for a whileT The farther the better!" No, Wilbur. She needs to get away from YOU. The lovely picture of you in today's first panel, displaying that jacket/tie/combover combo probably explains her depression.
It appears that Wilbur and his editor are having a game of handball across the editor's desk. Yesterday the editor had the cupped hand stance, and today it's Wilbur. Either that, or they are sharing a prosthetic arm that they pass between them so Giella can draw it. . . .

I was having a tough time remembering what Wilbur's job is! Thanks.
How could the editor even consider Wilbur and love in the same sentence while Wilbur is wearing that jacket? Eeeek!
I am really surprised that Moy is familiar with the function of an editor given that her writing can't possibly be reviewed by one.
I'm not exactly sure what Dawn needs but I am quite sure it's not Wilbur.
[Wednesday] Wilbur's editor looks like he has severe acid reflux. He needs an antacid, or maybe a ham sandwich and some kelkie cookies.
In this morning's script, the skyline visible from the office windows reminds me of a child's cityscape built from milk cartons and shoeboxes.
