Great disguises. Even I can't tell who's who in this panel. Who's Terry? Who's Adam? Who's the lady in hotpants that they're with? Wait, is that Adam? These two are unbeatable!
Less like Bogie and Bacall and more like Booth and Bones in one of their more comical undercover assignments. As Anonymous notes at 7:38, the bright blue sansabelt suit is de riguer for street thugs--in a middle class retirement community.
Adam and Terry had to be detailed to the undercover unit because Adam couldn't master standard office ergonomics, ie. he kept sliding off of Terry's desk and bruising his keister.
Today's undercover panel was a welcome surprise. A Worthy contender for sure. Bravo, Joe.
For instance, none of the other undercover teams had ever been able to catch the notorious "Near Miss Litterbug" who would leave his filthy waste paper right next to the receptacle to underscore his contempt for the law.
It is rare that I am shocked by anything in Mary Worth, but I was completely taken aback by Terry appearing in hot pants today and would say that her disguise was more effective than Adam's. I wonder if we'll ever be let in on the significance of that piece of paper by the trash can.
Sarah Palin (wearing 3-D glasses) and the late Bert Parks confront the kingpin of For Members Only counterfeit clothing. The back alleys of Santa Royale will once again be safe for elderly fashionistas. What a team!
This is the most promising story and panel since the drive-by shooting of Richie. Glory days in the Worthiverse! (I just hope this isn't KM's idea of an April Fool's prank, with a return to Mary and Jeff at the Bumboat to dash our hopes.)

Most street thugs wear blue sansabelt pants suits.

Who's the Trash Can? That is the Real Genius.
Agent 13 is inside the trash can.

If this were any other strip, i'd say this panel was an April Fool's joke. Sadly, I think this is how Joe pictures undercover work.
He also leans towards the Dick Tracy idea of evil people as having strangely distorted features.
By the Way, is the dancing robot normally a part of the CAPTCHA?

Terry and Adam do not look like cops at all.
