Please, somebody explain this to me! Wilbur does not have a single attractive quality, and I’m leaving the physical aspect out of the equation. He’s selfish, disloyal, delusional. As a parent, he is both detatched and enabling. He takes advantage of his employer and his neighbor. Iris is clearly pining, and who knows what Fabiana’s motives are. I can only conclude that he must be exceptional in some way that is decidedly not family-friendly.
LOL thinking the exact same thing fauxprof. Wilbur must have some mojo that none of us are aware of. Medical Assistant Jared had more going for him. At least he was into Star Wars and cats. Wilbur's just into eating and bad combovers.
If that is Jared in front, he and Iris getting together would be way more interesting that looking at Wilbur clumsily dancing like a six year old at a birthday party.
I'm still confused with Iris moping about the breakup. Wasn't SHE the one who told him if he went off for a year it would be over? They were in a car at some park somewhere, I believe and she told him it was done. Then she had her "fling" with the college student.
Are we supposed to feel sorry for Iris? She was the one who ended it, unless I am not remembering the storyline in the correct manner.
Wilbur left for his 12 month trip almost a full year ago, Nov 11, 2016. Who knew when Iris told Wilbur they should "take a break" she meant "take a break", like a 12-month pause button. Wilbur heard "break up", especially when she capped it with "while we're apart we should consider ourselves single", and "no need to stay in touch while you're gone."
See if you can tell what she REALLY meant. https://comicskingdom.com/mary-worth/2016-11-11
Moping Iris is setting herself up to get called on by the instructor. I picture this sounding like the adult voices in the Peanuts TV shows: "Bwaw braw ba bwaw," and Iris snapping to attention and sputtering "Yes ma'am?"
I'm having a hard time believing that Iris is going all full Weston, pining about losing the man she never really wanted. How lame is her life (types the guy typing comments assessing the life of a comic drawing in a strip starring a meddling old woman)?
I noticed the striped boxers that Scottie called out as well. It clearly highlights why Wilbur is having challenges dancing--he simply doesn't feel the music. Pedro needs to recognize this and put on something Wilbur's more comfortable with. Something like gangster rap.
Yeah, the "consider ourselves single" conversation is both why people wondered at Dawn getting upset over Iris's fling, and over Iris's current reaction (if it's really "Boy, I shouldn't have let Zak get away, even if he doesn't know CASABLANCA," that makes slightly more sense).
Wilbur is no prize at all, but this wasn't disloyalty.

Is that Jared in front of Iris? Hope she's not allergic to cats.

I gotta say, I'm not overly impressed with Pedro's instruction skills. He apparently hasn't shown Wilbur exactly what to do. All he says is, "Move."
And are those Wilbur's striped boxers peeking out in the back? Who knew Double-Doub was so hip?

"Wilbur must have some mojo". In Bogota is that pronounced "mo-joe" or "mo-hoe"?

Having a hard time getting past the mental image of Wilbur and his mojo.
Wanders, you are killing it this week, and so are all the rest of you! Thank you.
