I foresee problems in Dawn’s future. There’s not going to be enough disposable income to finance her parasitic lifestyle, since Wilbur has taken on a more attractive parasite. Perhaps Dawn will have to find a real job and not just a dating opportunity with light filing.
When I read KM's quote of the week, I thought of a magnet I have on my fridge "Whoever said money does not buy happiness doesn't know where to shop". That's Fabiana's motto.
Anyway, I am curious: is it my imagination or is Wilbur shrinking with each passing day. He looks like a little boy clinging to his mommy.
I bet Wilbur's big surprise is he'll ask Fabiana to marry him. We'll all be laughing when she laughs in his face and tells him her "cousin" Pedro is really her husband.
Wilbur IS shrinking by the day. By the time he unveils his plan, he'll barely reach Fabiana's waist.
Does Faibiana have an assistant trailing her with an electric fan? How else would her hair blow that way? I just hope there's an Iris-Fabiana face-off.
What an easy transaction for Mr. Salesman - he didn't even have to utter a word, much less wipe that smug smile from his face.
The jewelry salesman is another of Fabiana’s ‘cousins’. The “emerald” is a fake, carved from a Heineken beer bottle. Only the $20,000 charge on Wilbur’s credit card is real in this transaction.
The hackiness of this strip has gotten so bad with the Iris and Wilbur storylines I can't even read MW to make fun of it anymore. It is literally that awful.
I was in the shower this morning and for some bizarre reason I started thinking about Wilbur and Fabiana.(I do all my bizarre thinking in the shower.) Anyway, I started thinking how did Wilbur meet this gold digger? Was she a survivor or did they bump into each other on the beaches of Bogota? Did he save her from drowning? What is the story with these two other than she saw a sucker walking. I’m reading way too much into this.
I just had the sickening thought this place is careening toward Iris realizing that all Zak's money doesn't make her happy, while Wilbur realizes he can't afford Fabiana's happiness, with the team being back to each other like the Titanic to an iceberg.

Today's Boldface Haiku is titled "Is Wilbur Talking To A Hidden Camera In Panel Three? Is He Working For The Feds And Busting Up A Crime Ring?".
Now love...my love?
Wilbur...love! Love!
Happy!
Very now!
Bank account...Eh! Money? Amor?
Something happier...
Maybe now Fabi will let Willie get to first base. But just once. She'll tell him she wants to save herself for marriage.
