Wilbur can’t go out to eat tonight because his bank account has been drained, he’s been fired from The Santa Royale Weekly Shopper, and Dawn better enjoy that apple because it’s the last food in the house. Here’s hoping that Dawn will enjoy waitressing at the Bum Boat as much as Wilbur will relish mopping up at the Sandwich Shop. That restroom mishap must be pretty dire by now.
Woeful Wilbur is planning a lavish romantic dinner at Jerry's Sandwich Shop to woo Iris back. Won't he be surprised when Zak opens Iris's door wearing one of Tommy's wifebeaters and holding Iris's "I [heart] Benedict Cumberbatch" mugs?
Wow, Wilbur must be really heartsick (or broke) to pass up a meal.
Maybe he's salivating over a wonderful roast that he thinks Iris is going to cook for him. The surprise is on him when he uses the key under Iris' doormat to let himself in and finds Iris and Zak in an AAUGGH! moment.
Wilbur, continuing his assumption-laden bumbling, will likely be eating crow over at Mary Worth's after the rude surprise he's going to get when he knocks on Iris'door...I hear Mary roasts a mean crow.. Also, I see he's come home to Dawn's girlie (flowered) taste with those drapes...

Today's Boldface Haiku is titled
"This Is What Passes For The Agony And The Ecstacy At The Westons'(And Also A Cliffhanger In 'Mary Worth')"
Disappointments. Celebrate!
Celebrate?
Go out!
Sorry, can't!
Maybe Wilbur will end up asking Zak Iks for money via Iris so that he and Dawn won't be evicted from Charterstone for not paying rent/mortgage.
Dawn: "Let's not dwell on disappointments . . . we should celebrate them!" That's how I read it the first time and it made me laugh.
Why didn't Dawn pick Wilbur up at the airport? She seemed surprised to see him at the apartment. Sheesh!
(Also, I really dig Wilbur's "Hello Kitty" mug! So adorable!)

D: "Let's go out to eat: I know this great new French restaurant."
W: "I can't. I want to go swimming tonight, but need to pick up a new swimsuit. I put the old one in the drier."
(with deepest apologies to anyone reading while eating)

Oh. No.
It's EcstaSy. Did I really misspell that? Can I plead...Caffeine Deficiency? Weston Fatigue?
Mea Culpa

Dawn, did you say celebrate?
No, I said celibate.
Oh. No worries there.
I hear ya.

13 News reports today that Hello Kitty wine is here, which might explain Wilber's cup.
Celebrate! Celebrate! Salsa dance to the music. Unless, of course, you never actually got to that lesson.
