Checked out Bansky - says he is anonymous - but I suspect he's either Uncle Joe or maybe even June. Seems like that couple is missing a finger or two and that is definitely June's signature awkward cellphone hold.
Thanks, Wanders! The only difference I imagine in the tribute to Toby and Ian might be Toby looking at her phone and Ian consulting his wax stylus tablet.
When I read the comic this morning the first thought that popped into my head was "Oh brother!" Whenever these two get together, they NEVER talk (with the exception of Ian's comment about the fish fry). "Cool and confident"? Who even talk like that? I would be like "Look Toby, either ask him or stop whining about it. This is getting old really quick. Nobody cares how "cool and confident" you are. You're a loser who paints clowns and grayscale figures. Now shut the heck up."
Right on Regina, Toby needs to grow a pair and stop whining to Mary. Just ask Ian what is going on? It is a pretty good story to hear, and pretty stupid.
“Appear cool and confident”?? Are we talking about a marriage or a job interview? Am I alone in wondering if KM has ever been in a relationship? And that’s enough question marks for one comment.
Who worries about appearing cool and confident in front of someone they've (apparently) been married to for many years? How did she go from assuming Jannie was just being a suck up to assuming she actually wants Ian to commit adultery with her? Mary just needs to point out that no one on Earth wants to do that with Ian, not even for a free "A."
I have this strangely idealistic view that a good marriage, and they do exist, is one place where people don't have to pretend to be cool. Karen Moy has a deeply negative view of relationships. I can't think of a single healthy relationship in Worthverse.
What's the difference between talking and "opening a dialogue"? If someone suggested that I "open a dialogue" with anyone, I'd say "hmm" and walk away fast. BTW, things went south quickly when Jannie opened a dialogue with Ian.

How. Many. Times. Are. We. Going. To. Have. This. Same. Freaking. Conversation?? Even for Mary Worth, this has to be a record!

Is this a marriage or a poker game?

Scottie: It's a marriage of idiots.
Today's Boldface Haiku is titled
"They Added The Yawning Face Emoji Because Of This Storyline".
Dialogue both.
Know student...listen.
Worry appear. Talk.
Do, cool confident.

Don't worry Toby, Ian will find you cool and confident. After all, he believed that he inspired Jannie.

Also, "cool and confident": Is she talking to her husband or doing a deodorant commercial?
Regina Wolfe-Parks @ 3:15 PM - heh! Both my daughter and dog are wondering what has me in hysterics.
They've been replaced by robots!
(I'm hoping we'll get back to Jannie and what her story is.)
