Santa Royale Beach is the only place on earth that has sharp surf. Next stop: the ER at Mountain View Hospital, where Hugo will explain in both French and English that he has no health insurance.
Where is this story going? 1. More kisses in the surf. 2. Dinner at the BumBoat with wet hair. Luckily Dawn usually looks as if her locks are wet (or just greasy). 3. Sunset over the ocean with Dawn and Hugo holding hands. 4 Dawn gets a job teaching English as a Second Language in France. That last one is my feeble attempt to come up with a possible plot for this (so far) non story. More likely is Dawn waving goodbye to Hugo as he boards a plane back to France, wearing a paint-spattered shirt while "Summer Nights" from "Grease" plays in the background.

Today's Boldface Haiku is titled
"SHARK!".
The ocean is calling!
Up?
Oui!
@Wanders--LOL. Your pronunciation is flawless.
The Pacific is nice, but it's no Atlantic.

@Nance, your BFH title is perfection. Provided you’re calling the shark to come get them, not warning them.
Didn't we do the beach thing a few months ago with Tommie and Brandy?

I still think that soon after Hugo leaves for "France", Dawn will find him playing the same game on his next cute, dim, girl.
@fauxprof--Thank you. And it was Wishful Thinking.
Palm trees on the beach on California? Really? Uless they were planted there by a developer, then no way.
