Mary Worth 3192

We were joking yesterday when said Hugo was back. It was a joke because that would be the cruelest outcome of all to make us sit through more French/English dialog. Also, I’ve seen Sabrina. But after this scene, the movie ends. We in Santa Royale, on the other hand, are now stuck with these two dweebs dragging it out even further.

Now I wish my brother really had thrown me off the cliff at Sundance Mountain Resort.

No, no, it’s too early for drastic measures, Wanders! Let’s look on the bright side. If Dawn and Hugo find true love and get married, we will never see them again!

I haven't been here in a very long time. I hope everyone is doing well.

Hug..what are you doing here? Ugh, this will never end.

I was thinking "Dawn is most likely dreaming this and we haven't been let in on it yet. She'll wake up and Mary and her rancid muffins will be at the door." But then, KM would never be that creative.

Wanders, I hope this isn't Sandance's version of the "Thinkin' and Drinkin' cliff". Don't let your brother do it, even though I'm sure we want to all take turns being thrown off this cliff now that Hugo is back in town.

I sure hope this is a true dream sequence and not a Sue Ellen / Bobby Ewing trope.

OH NOOOO!!!!!!!!’

Wanders, can your brother throw Dawn and Hugo off the cliff as a public service? I’m sure all of us will gladly contribute to an honorarium for him to express our gratitude.

What an annoying, manipulative turn of events.

Yeah, sure, he'll just cancel his expensive, nonrefundable ticket to Paris and return to his pet rock, or whatever he's calling her.

He doesn't like her all that much, he doesn't have a place to stay, and he doesn't have a job. This is completely unrealistic. My dudgeon has rarely been higher.

I hope he turns out to be a conniving, cheating, lifetime gigolo.

Indians vs. Phillies this weekend, Wanders. I like The Tribe's chances.

Could Hugo be Arthur's son and this is a scam against Estelle? Nah, something that bizarre would show up in Judge Parker, not Mary Worth. Hugo will attend university with Dawn, Hugo's host parents will accept him back as the inside of the house still needs to be painted and Mary will show up with muffins and bland platitudes about the heart wanting what it wants or whatever. Ugh.

I think Hugo's flight was cancelled and he needs someplace to stay until they rebook him.

I haven't commented here in a long time but I have a rant to get off my chest.
It's really bugging me that nobody at Charterstone has a friend other than Mary Worth. Nobody has a friend, or a mother, or grandmother to turn to other than Mary and her boring muffins.
How hard would it have been for Karen Moy to insert one single panel showing Dawn out with some girlfriends talking about Hugo. They wouldn't even have to be given names just demonstrating that Dawn is a normal human being.
Rant off.

Plus ca change... wish I had the correct accents and such. But oh well. Look on the bright side, maybe he will take Dawn to France and we'll never see her again. Then we can tell our survivor stories regarding this plot.

My chouchoute! I forgot my ... how you say ... sunglasses. I have them now. Au revoir! Goodbye again!

What, no muffins at the door? Or at least none of MARY'S muffins at the front door.

"Hugo! You came back?"
"Oui, ma wee petite chouchoute patootie. I fear I must have left my passport in your vehicle."

(Sorry, Jerry. I hadn't seen your comment when I posted this. Same general idea, though. Will Moy be cruel enough to take it in this direction?)

Well, this certainly has been a satisfying, indeed edifying, tale of personal growth and development.
