So, Dawn is planning to travel to Paris and New York? Since we’ve only seen one attempt at gainful employment (at Dr. Deceiver’s office), where’s the money coming from? Is Wilboor paying for everything? Let’s not forget months and months in Beautiful Italy, the bottomless pit of college tuition with no degree ever in sight, food, lodging...all on Wilboor’s salary at the Pennysaver Press. Add in all of his own journeys, emerald rings, and purple Scotch, and I suspect some sort of clandestine revenue stream.
Wonderful comments, everyone! "Who are you talking to, honey?" and the paper route made me literally LOL. And yes, where IS all this money coming from?
Yeah, I'm sure they'll be flying entry-level Hugo to New York on zee corporate jet.
I am très impressed encore une fois by Mamzelle Moy’s ear bien développée for plausible renditions de la way French people speak anglais! They know all the verbs et les mots difficiles to perfection, mais they struggle seulement with les mots très simples that English speakers can understand facilement and then they are obligés to relapse into their langue maternelle!
So many great comments, but Little Nell's almost made me spit water all over my keyboard. And I had the same thought about Hugo telling the folks in NYC that the pizza is better in France.
I hope Nance is doing OK. I miss the BFH. I've tried doing them myself, but I never come up with those great titles.

Did Hugo hang up and they re just talking to a picture of him?
Thanks Wilbur, I knew eventually you'd make it all about you. You're such a toad.
Hugo needs to take a remedial English As a Second Language class to help him remember the words he keeps forgetting. For instance, “very good.”

Keep waiting for a woman's voice behind Hugo, "who are you talking to honey?"
Hope Dawn plans to pack her walking shoes. She'll need them to help Hugo with his paper route in Paris.

Hugo in NYC? I can't wait for Hugo to tell New Yorkers their pizza is inferior, followed by weeks of Dawn visiting him in the hospital.
I think this story would be vastly improved if Hugo turns out to be Arther's son and is Skyping from Goleta.
