If Brandy is so certain that Tommy is using again, wouldn't she sweetly inquire as to which school Tommy had given his talk? And then, two minutes later, be phoning the school administrator to let them know they'd let a relapsed drug user / dealer talk to the kids? Sheesh...
Well, an email is a step up from leaving notes on the cash register. But assuming they both still work there, how is that working out? Freda's is only about 950 square feet, and they are the only two people who work there. Is Freda the go-between? Does Freda hire only bottom of the barrel applicants? Who is in charge when Freda is out, Tommy or Brandy?
All these questions. Maybe a new Jeopardy category should be: Mary Worth

As far as we know, Tommy and Brandy are still working at Freda’s. Are they not speaking? Leaving Post-It Notes all over the place?

Brandy will never get that email, since it will go directly to spam.

Tommy’s laptop looks like the type marketed to very elderly people. Maybe Mary sold it to him when she upgraded to a laptop that runs Windows 7.
Things at Freda’s must be uncomfortable with the only two employees not interacting.
