Looks like some of Mary's surplus Meddlesense has osmosed over to Jeff. Now he's going to stick his nose in where it doesn't belong and make a royal hash of things.
And speaking thereof, what's with the tip -- make that tips -- of his nose? He looks hideous.
Good job, Mary. Dismiss the intuition of a parent. How this woman amassed a reputation for giving good advice is a mystery to me. She's as wooden with other people as my front door. In fact, an upcoming conference at my workplace is planning to use Mary Worth strips to illustrate an inability to listen and process what other people are saying. Not kidding...
Maybe Drew is regretting his decision to let Dawn get away. If KM has them run into each other while Dawn is having lunch with Jared, just think how happy that would make June. She could dig out all the old panels from the Dawn and Drew days and take the next three months off. Like Wanders pointed out a few days ago, it’s not like she’d have a problem with regurgitating artwork.
Why wouldn't Jeff invite Drew out for a beer, or a round of golf, and then, I don't know, maybe have a conversation, kind of like any normal father might do? It's not perfect but it would be better than sending the irrelevant platitude machine to meddle.
Me catching up on the last week of Mary Worth: Argh Saul Eve blah blah blah purple purple blah blah blah Whoa! New story!I can feel the excitement rising up within me. Or is that bile?
On the other hand, Wanders, I very much enjoyed catching up with your posts, and the BFHs (brilliant!), and seeing your friendly faces.
Yahoonski, I'm sorry to hear about your news. As someone else mentioned, they are doing wonderful things these days, and new things all the time. Adding my prayers and good thoughts to those that others have sent.

I wonder why Tommy Beedie is at a nearby table.
Mary missed her opportunity to ask “And how is Adrian?” when Jeff referred to “his kids.” Jeff might have replied “Who?”
Today's Boldface Haiku is titled
"Dr. Jeff Sums Up His Relationship With Mary".
Dissatisfied.
Feeling.
A lot...

Maybe the men's fitness magazine Mary found under Drew's bed a few years ago has something to do with his dissatisfaction of life.
