Boy howdy, he’ll do anything to avoid taking another bite of that…stuff.

Ok, this has to be the best thought bubble winner for this year.

Never underestimate the power of white rice with hamburger gravy.

Zak will invite His Nan to the wedding, and she will freak out when she meets Iris: "Zakkie, you're marrying HER?! Why, she's older than me! I didn't raise you to do something like this!"

Iris, I believe it’s pronounced “OMG”. But only someone of Dawn and Zak’s age would know that.

Even though she should jump at the chance to have a hot young wealthy tall successful caring perfect spouse to permanently fund her late-life college adventures, Iris is going to inexplicably say she’s not ready and spend weeks agonizing over muffins with Mary in some sort of incomprehensible midlife crisis. I think that happened before when she suddenly Needed Clarity, then finally got diagnosed with hypothyroidism and somehow all was resolved.

I don't know but I think this is all wrapping up a little too neatly. I forget how long ago it was, but I remember Tommy and Babe patching things up. Then, through the Helen Moss debacle, we are reassured that Ian and Toby are still madly in love and their marriage is solid as a rock. Next, we see Estelle with her beloved pets banging out on her piano that she's fallen in love with herself. Then Wilbur decides that he's fine on his own, as long as he's got his fish to talk to. Jared and Jess were meant to be. Even Dawn has decided that it is not, after all, inevitable that she will turn into her father if she diligently spends the next 40 or 50 years working on herself. Last month, we suffered through Mary and Jeff's mutual admiration fest, gazing lovingly into each other's eyes under the harvest moon, agreeing that real love means never having to... well, you know.

The only couple left to wrap up in 'forever after' paper was Iris and Zak. So, does this marriage proposal foreshadow the end of Mary Worth? I shudder to think that it may.

Don't tease us, Moy. Do not tease us. I want this wedding to happen so badly. Which it probably will.

I take delight in thinking about how Wilbur will ruin this. Plan, Wilbur, plan!
