I believe Miss Dawn has the very first car built in this century in the Worthisphere. How did she afford a Mini Cooper? Could her professor have helped her out?
Dawn appears to be driving faster than the incoming plane. She's in an unseemly hurry to unload dear old Dad. Does this mean we are due for a wild and crazy, out of control Dawn storyline? Probably not. KM doesn't do foreshadowing. Besides, we are long overdue for a Toby sighting.
Conquer the world? All Wilbur's doing is interviewing people who have survived the world, strictly speaking. He's not even going to the Dangerous Locales where the original adventures took place, most likely interviewing Survivors at home or in their hospital rooms (in traction, certainly).
Sigh.
I also love that Detached Parenting: take care of yourself, and oh yeah, check in. Perhaps Dawn is about 35 or so and needs no concern.
I wonder what Wilbur's itinerary is. Apparently he and Dawn covered a lot of ground in that one-week interval.
"Take care of yourself and stay in touch" is what you say to an acquaintance you're planning to never see again. Wilbur was a lot closer to his not-son Kurt.
I think Wanders' list sells Tamurlane and Ghengis Khan a bit short, but perhaps the comments section of a Mary Worth blog is not the right time or place for that discussion.
Dawn in one panel, Tommy in the other. Be afraid, very afraid, and be careful what we wish for. Is this the herald of the Dawn/Tommy relationship? (I almost wrote "hookup", but I just ate breakfast and want to keep it down.)

Hopefully, Mary will deliver lots of Kelk casseroles to Dawn's door. She needs to keep tabs on that young (40-something?) co-ed.

As a former owner of a PT Cruiser, I feel vindicated today.

Go already.
As a current owner of a Mini, I'm feeling sort of dingy, and old today.
There has only one BOLD word since Sunday. Methinks someone is monitoring this blog :-)

SATURDAY

Saturday: Meanwhile...a mother watches her son eat a sandwich and drink a glass of milk while reading the BIBLED. Wait, what?
