Mary Worth 3522

There's more to tell? What more could you possibly have to say? You and Brandy got back together. Essentially, you are exactly where you were six months ago, so what else is there to say, unless you need to brag about your olive oil Christmas tree.

Mary could have made onion rings, that would have put Tommy right over the edge.

Wanders, I expect that Tommy will breathlessly tell Mary about his display-construction success and how it impressed The Boss. Mary will smile indulgently and say, “Oh, good for you” the way she would compliment a 7-year-old who put his crayons and markers in their box.

Tommy: "Sure, and I have more to tell you."

Mary: "Really? What's that?"

Tommy: "Everyone at Charterstone is sick to death of your ugly, purple sweater. Can you please find something else to wear?"

How come Mary is the only friend any resident of Charterstone has? Is that part of cult rules?

Tim, I’m glad you asked that. As it happens, the twenty (more or less) residents of Charterstone are all suffering from folie^a deux, a shared delusional disorder in which two or more people share a belief that no one else shares. For example. both Toby and Mary believe that Toby is a talented artist. And both Wilbur and Mary think that Wilbur is a hunka hunka burnin’ love, and both Mary and Wilbur think Mary is a good cook. Dr. Jeff and Mary both think Dr. Jeff is a good catch. And each and every Charterstonian thinks Mary is the unofficial manager. And Ian and Greta both think haggis is tasty (and neither of them thinks the other has bad breath). Is that clear? Or do I suffer from la folie^a d’un?

Attention Old Man Winter:

Please don’t give Greta any of Mary’s smoked salmon appetizer!

"I made blueberry cobbler this morning. Would you like some? I've asked everybody else at Charterstone, but they all seem to have come down with some sort of mysterious blueberry allergy."

"I'd LOVE some, Mary! Now I won't have to eat the crappy salmon I stol . . . uh . . . yes, I mean I love blueberry blobbly!"

@HelenClark, I couldn’t agree more! And the yellow disc earrings - it must be years now. I have complained about both, alas to no avail.
